Cutting and application
Not a blade, a a plotter.
The film is cut on a plotter from a vehicle-specific template; no blade ever touches the paint. Every application at an authorised centre follows the same four steps.
01Surface preparation
The paint is cleaned and, if needed, corrected with polishing.
02Laying and stretching
The film, cut on the plotter for the specific car, is laid on the surface.
03Squeegee placement
Water and air are pushed out with a squeegee.
04Heat and edge wrapping
On curves the film is shaped with heat; edges are wrapped inside the panel.
